I think this is the first 10 that I've given in violence. You get a 6 for the best graphics I've ever seen. However, a 30 second demo is a 30 second demo, and I can't score this very high, no matter how good the graphics are. If you ever make a full length movie with a good plot and graphics of this calibur (which I have yet to see happen since these demos are NEVER followed up.) then it'll deserve all the 10's that NG can give you. I'll say it flat out, this does not deserve the number one spot and will down to number 10 or so within days. Probably replaced with Ganguro Girl or something.

It's a nice little short. No offense, but some of your review scores should be significantly lower. I mean it was good for what it was, but cmon. A lot of people are just giving you high scores because you were whining on the frontpage and they don't want to look like assholes. I know where you're coming from, but still. Well I'm giving an honest review here. I think you did a good job for it being the 10 second flash that it was. Good job.

This was an ok flash, and I did chuckle a little. But this should NOT be number 24 on the top 50. Way to lower the bar, Newgrounds.

Your "movie" was nothing but a few flashes of pictures and was over before I knew what the hell was going on. And as for what you said in your authors comments, read this:

You are receiving this speech because you have said something to the effect of: "You need to think about how hard I worked on that movie", "Vote according to how hard I worked", "I'd give you a lower score but I can't do any better", or my favorite, "You can't judge my work! You don't have a single movie!" Here's how it works. Voters and Reviewers are called that for a reason. They vote and they review. If they were required to make really good flash before they could vote or review, they would be called "Voter/Awesome Flash artists" and such. The harsh truth is that having a NG account entitles you to vote and review movies as you see fit. Whether you have ever opened flash in your life has no bearing on your ability or right to vote. Saying that you have to make some good movies before you have the right to criticize other people's work is like saying that you have to be a politician yourself to vote for governer or president. The bottom line is this: Some people are assholes, and you have to live with the sad fact that some people will vote on your movie without watching it. But guess what? This might just be the work of BLAM CLUB. They are a group dedicated to de-crapping the portal through way of blamming crap movies. A good deal of the time they'll vote 0 without watching it. (I know they have rules against it, but c'mon. Do you really think they abide by that?) Your movie may have been the victim of an organized blamming care of BLAM CLUB. And there is a very good reason for the flagging of a movie as crap. It's a very obvious reason, but somehow it escapes most people. Here it is: the movie was flagged, because the movie is in fact CRAP. Blamming was invented to get rid of shit movies. And that is what it does to this day. Get rid of shit. I've seen the results. The cream of the crop survives blamming. The shit movies...some of which (not nearly enough) are blammed. It's the way it works, and it is a good system. Readers, I hope you absorb this and start acting accordingly. Don't bitch about how much effort you put into your movie, because it doesn't matter. Only the entertainment value of the end result matters. That's how some movies that may or may not look like crap get high scores. Because they're entertaining. You can spend years on a flash and get blammed real fast because it was boring. But more likely it won't get blammed because you people are idiots and "can't do any better" which brings me to my next bottom line point. Don't vote high on movies you know are crap because "you can't do any better" So what? You think it crap, so tell em! Throw em some 0's if you think they deserve them! That's how they know they need to get better! If you've managed to read through all this and understand it, give yourself a pat on the back and feel proud. Because you now know that you are enlightened. So get out to the portal and spread your enlightenment!

The animation was really good, but to be blunt, this was boring to the max. Short, stupid, not entertaining at all. Come up with some really good ideas and then put your animation skills to work. In the meantime, please don't take up half a page bitching about idiot voters.

There's something about you shadow...

I have a friend in my ceramics class. Everything he makes, no matter what it is, is praised by everyone and he is constantly told how good his projects are. And they are. He makes good stuff. But he could roll a lump of clay into a ball, hit it with a hammer and it would still be great because it was made by him. You're like him, shadow. It's obvious you didn't exert much effort into this, but it's still great because it's made by _shadow_of_everything_under_th e_sun_! Kudos!

Yeah, I thought of this last nite after watching the josh bend version. I got the sound from chibi and then started making the movie. Luckily the .swf was not protected so I got the BG's from that.
took me a good 2 hours and that was only because I made a huge mistake and had to fix it.

Your point was sent across quite nicely, but your point is flawed. I've said this countless times, and I'm going to say it again now. A VOTER OR REVIEWERS SKILL IN FLASH DOES NOT MATTER IN THE LEAST. A voter/reviewer is just that. They don't have to be a voter/reviewer/moviemaker. I absolutely hate it when people vote and review according to the false contrary. They'll say, "It was kinda bad but I couldn't do any better." That doesn't matter! You're reviewing a movie, so give it what you think it deserves regardless of whether you've even opened flash before! Or when people bitch about low scores on their shitty ass movie and say, "You can't criticize! You haven't made one movie!" BULLSHIT. A NG account gives us the right to vote and review as we please regardless of whether we have any flash talent at all. Everyone should realize this, but it's sad how few do. If you've taken the time to read this, DaDocta, I hope this soaks in for you. Now back to my review...
Your movie itself was really well done. Well drawn, nice choice of BG music. Pretty funny, too. Not many movies make me laugh, so that's a big accomplishment for you. Bottom line, great job, and get back to applying your flash talent to some less preachy movies!

All this movie is preaching is to watch the movies and Vote fairly.. there are alot of people that simply Vote 0 just to get the Blam points.. Thats not fair in my eyes.. but like I said this was just a little joke I made, I never thought it would go this far.. but people feel real strong bout it. Go figure Thanks for the positive Review tho.. I'll be makin more with this character.
